Winners

Sergio Garcia’s Fiancé

Angela Akins had to of been one of the top searches on Google when she showed up on everybody’s TV during the Masters. I immediately went to see if she was any older than 18. That short blue skirt took away all of my attention from her fiancé actually winning his first major championship. The former golfer at the University of Texas is now a reporter for the Golf Channel.

Russell Westbrook and D'Angelo Russell

Westbrook has become only the second player in NBA history to average a triple double over the course of an NBA season. On Sunday Westbrook also passed Oscar Robinson with his 42nd triple double of the season. A 50 point, 16 rebound, 10 assist performance against the Nuggets was capped off by crazy 35-footer at the buzzer for a 106-105 Thunder Victory.

Sunday morning D’Angelo Russell was informed his grandmother had passed away. Originally Russell had planned to fly home to be with his family and skip Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. After talking it over with his family Russell decided to play in the game and boy did he make his grandmother proud. Russell stepped up last night and hit a game winning 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat the Timberwolves 110-109

Tim Tebow

In his first at-bat with the Columbia Fireflies, Tebow blasted a home run, he has definitely brought relevance to the Fireflies franchise. Then on Sunday Tebow hit his second homerun of the season, a 3-run shot to right field. This of course came on Palm Sunday, Tebow being the holy man that he is probably had a little help from the man upstairs. The Fireflies do have a game on Easter, so I fully expect him to put on a show that day.

I’m sure the website received a few extra signups this week after the Coastal Carolina prostitution ring news came about. Sugar Daddies across the country found out about another site where they can flaunt their money for really expensive “dinner dates”.

Losers

Steps

Steps everywhere are now being frowned upon as they robbed us of the hottest golfer in the world playing in the Masters, Dustin Johnson. I would have loved to see him lap the field to win his first ever green jacket. Steps also robbed us of the chance to see Paulina Gretzky, which is really what hurt the most.

Steph Curry Shoes

Steph Curry dropped the luxury edition of his Under Armour Curry 3 shoe, the limited-edition “oxblood leather”. This is the second shoe that Curry has dropped that has been roasted on the internet. Here are some of my favorites.

  • "Steph just going to keep dropping sneakers that look like Oldsmobile arm rests."

  • "Curry just dropped a PT Cruiser for your feet."

  • 'Those are what Darth Vader wears when walking on a treadmill in a hotel gym at 6 am."

White People

White People everywhere took an L this week when we were all told we have slow feet and couldn’t win championships. This of course came from America’s villain, LaVar Ball. Here’s to hoping his son Lonzo gets drafted by a team with no “white people” in their starting lineup.

NBA Logo

Jerry West came out this week and said he thinks it’s time for a change to the NBA logo. When the guy known as “The Logo” wants to change it, this is a bad look for the NBA. This sparked the internet to come up with a few examples of what the next NBA logo should be.
