Detroit Lions New Uniform Design
On Thursday, the Detroit Lions unveiled their new uniforms for 2017, which look pretty similar to their 2016 uniforms. Their official twitter account described the uniforms as "fire emoji" but i beg to differ. Its 2017 and I am not very impressed with the choices the Lions made to change or update their Home and Road uniforms. The best part of the new gear is the reinstatement of the "Throwback" uniforms, which contain a Honolulu blue jersey, white pants. and the classic, logo-less sterling helmets. The "Color Rush" jersey is now Sterling Silver with white lettering as opposed to black with blue lettering. They also added the initials "WCF" on the sleeve of the jersey's to honor their longtime owner William Clay Ford, who died in 2014. Overall I will give the Lions a C+, no big changes or earth shattering designs.
